You need to rescue the content of your external disk using a specialized program like ddrescue (as described in the TestDisk manual).
Using any rescue software on your assumably defective disk might diminish your chances of recovery.

You have been possibly trapped by an translating enclosure. ;)

Je n'utilise pas d'Ubuntu. Veuillez publier le fichier de type "desktop" que vous avez créé ici dans le forum quand même.

Si vous créez un lançeur qui si réfère à un fichier du nom "Testdick" cela va jamais fonctionner. Il faut être précis.

Are you using the most recent TestDisk package (containing PhotoRec and QPhotoRecWin)?
