Now retrieving JPGs and have run into a discrepancy with the # of files recovered. See the attached images. PhotoRec says ~14000 files while Windows Explorers says there are over 20,000 files (in the directories created during the process).

Have to admit, I got impatient and did start deleting. Figured if anything, I'd just have to start over.... Still didn't help though. I have ~100gb free on the drive I directed the recovered files to go to and I stopped (paused) the process when it reached 90gb !! There's no way I have that much in ...

I'm using PhotoRec to recover files from a hard drive, mainly MP3 and JPEGs at this point. I'm doing one filetype at a time for now.
