"MFT and Mirror Damaged" question
I'm new here.
I'm on Windows 7. I ran TestDisk on a "RAW" hard drive and got the message that both the MFT and it's Mirror are damaged and no repair was done.
Do I have any options left to try and repair the MFT to get access to the drive in it's original state (or close to it)?

QPhotoRec raw file numbers question
I'm new here.
I just used QPhotoRec (on Windows) to recover jpg and tif files from a "raw" hard drive with apparently a damaged MFT (which Testdisk couldn't fix).
My question is: The photo image files have all been renamed (with numbers) The numbers aren't sequential as they appear on screen ...
