Re: Meaning of the numbers after "inter0" in photorec.ses file
Thank you a lot! Don't worry! I think I have recovered everything I needed and I was just curious about what those numbers mean. It is not really an issue for me.
Have a nice day!

Thank you so much, @cgrenier and @recuperation!
It is version PhotoRec 7.2-WIP, Data Recovery Utility, February 2023, on a 64-bit Windows 10 machine. This phenomenon only occurs for this one specific drive, for all other drives I had used before with PhotoRec, the process always finishes with the ...

Meaning of the numbers after "inter0" in photorec.ses file
Hi,
1) The number before "inter0" in the photorec.ses file is the starting sector if I understood correctly. Though I'm wondering what the numbers after that mean. The final number appears to be the number of sectors of my drive (9 digits), but all the numbers before that are way longer (12 to 14 ...

Re: Is GPT partitioning for an SSD much more secure than MBR partitioning?
Thank you so much for your answer! :D
I don't know. I guess there is no automatic repair. You can test that yourself by zeroing out the GPT header area.
Ah, okay. Don't really know how to do that (which software can do that). I thought this might be documented somewhere.
It could, be that ...

Is GPT partitioning for an SSD much more secure than MBR partitioning?
Hi folks,
I have a precautionary question! I have bought a new external SSD (1 terabyte) and I am thinking of using a GPT partition table instead of the MBR partition table. Since my SSD has less than 2 terabytes of capacity, I could use both MBR and GPT. I read my way into the subject and saw that ...
