 A 2 TB disk as stated above containing one partition (that is probably filling the whole disk) shows up as 4096 MB? 
I should have clarified that this was block size, which appears next to the file system in testdisk. Testdisk shows the capacity to be ~1800 GB which is what I would expect, was like ...

Anyways, as the title says, my 2TB 7200RPM HDD decided to go raw on me just today.
NOTE: IT IS NOT, AND NEVER HAS BEEN, A BOOT DRIVE; It was a storage drive, I even remember assigning it a simple partition ...
