I run new version of Testdisk 7.2 wip and it found the partition I needed to recover.
While Testdisk version 6.14 did not find that partition.

But.... when I open my 20 gb partition, Testdisk 7. 2 gives me always error so now I ask you what I should do in order to recover the 20 gb partition and ...

Testdisk gives me these warnings:

Your disk geometry is not correct, for a better analyse u should correct it

Hidden sectors are present and hidden data too, host protect area is active

Numbers of heads cylinders mismatches 0 = 255

So should I correct anything in my hdd ?

There is no 20 gb partition during Testdisk deep search.

Can u explain why my windows C:/ partition became of only 7 gb size instead of 20 gb ?
Where are those missing 13 gb data?

I have already done these procedures a lot of times.
Testdisk finds a ntfs partition of 13 gb with backup boot sector but when I type P to display its files I got this error:
Partition is corrupted or corrupted file system, no files found.

Which programm did you use to change the size of your partition?
