To add, the drive had only one partition.
I tried a quick scan of the recommended 'EFI - GPT' option but it seems to hang at 99% (had to force quit after an hour).
Then I tried an 'Intel' quick scan and that found the new partition. So I started a deep scan and stopped it about 5% and got the ...

Diskpart - 'Cleaned' wrong disk!
I was troubleshooting one of my drives and I accidentally 'cleaned' the wrong drive. The drive I cleaned had all my data (photos/documents/etc.). This is in a RAID 1.
