Should testdisk be able to recover from a failed [convert /fs:ntfs] or is this asking to much?
If so, are there any specifics?
Please advise.

I have updated partitions on several drives.
When I re-run testdisk (searching for partition information just as a verification test ), it discovers the old partition information.

Can TestDisk be used to record partition information as text in a text file for future reference (via batch file)?

fix/correct partition size in Windows

Is there a way to fix/correct a Windows 2000 FAT32 partition (CHS-values/size) in/for Windows (or can someone point me in a direction to find a solution)?
I am trying to correct the partition values that are read/retrieved by the Windows OS.

Does Windows backup/cache/store the (CHS-values/partition parameters) anywhere (that can be modified/updated)?

FAT32 REPAIR UTILITY

Is there such a software utility that I can use to edit a FAT32 table (see below)?
I "successfully" converted a partition from NTFS to FAT32
However, the 152GB disk is now showing as an 87GB disk in Windows 2000 sp4.

Only Windows seems to have the problem, TestDisk detects the disk just fine.
