You may have misread my last post. I need to recover Nikon D800 NEF files on my hard drive. PhotoRec recovers Nikon D700 NEF files excellently, but corrupts the D800 files right next to them. Perhaps Nikon has a substantial change in format.
I need help.

I'm not sure if you ever got D800 files to work with, but I am happy to send them to you.
I accidentally deleted a day's images on a Mac (10.8). There were files from both a D700 and a D800. PhotoRec does as good or better of a job finding those files as any other software, but it seems ...
