How can I determine which disk, device or directories I am looking at? I'm running a MacBook Pro but I'm not familiar with the terminal.

How to choose my SD card?
The PhotoRec step by step page says to "run photorec device". I'm completely lost in my mac's Terminal - I never used it before. Just don't know what I'm doing. So, how do I choose my SD card?
