I dont know what windows version that is (I use XP), but after my NTFS partition went raw I done a CHKDSK /r from the Windows XP CD recovery console and it brought back my file system
Testdisk had previously reported errors reading the MFT for that partition (bad sectors in the MFT)

Yes, it certainly is a FAT32 partition with XP installed on it. I'd actually had the computer dual booted
