So after many hours of Analysing, searching and reading I am ready to ask for help. I have a 2TB HDD (ext4) that had no partion on it (I don't know why?). After a month I am back on this project and I hope I can still get help. I copied the damaged 1.5TB drive to a 2TB using dd. I know there are files on it because I was able to pull them off with photorec.
I thought I added the partition but I don't think I did it correctly. Now I get:

I ran the testdisk deep search and asked to list the files of the ext4 partition and the response was:
No file found, filesystem may be damaged.
As for the files I found with photorec, I think they are the files from the ntfs partition (many mp3 and no flac).

Yes, I know...backup, anyway gparted crashed and killed the hard drive that had my user data (Ubuntu 12.04 is on a separate ssd). The drive had 2 partitions, one ext4 and one ntfs. I really want the ext4 (i never used the windows side but it would be nice to get my iTunes library back). BTW Win7 is ...
