I can't access my seagate external drive, it shows up & everything but it says that it needs t be reformatted. I keep all my pictures & music on this drive & I don't want to lose anything. I'm not really sure what I'm doing :p any assistance would be fantastic.

I cannot access my external drive. It was working fine, but now when I plug it in, windows is saying that the disk needs to be formatted. It's been accidentally unplugged without first safely removing it, could that be why? Anyhow I have tons of photos & music stored on it, I really don't want to ...
