Re: 2TB wraparound Intel storage matrix driver fault.
Alright after a lot of reading testing and backing up i found this thread, which actually looks and is very helpful.
They shead a lot of light on what the MFT is and how it works. That along with some other sites made me understand the concepts of what it does.

Re: Partition Recovery
Do you disconnect it inadvertently or not safely? if so this could be the cause, otherwise, it could be a driver issue with the intel matrix storage driver. How new is the machine does it have later then 10.1 of the intel storage matrix or newer (rapid storage technology) RST

Recovery of RAW partition
Something has gone wrong with my disk again, I believe the controller is bad in my backup server. While I was copying files form one disk to another the disk went offline and when it came back it shows as raw.

Re: Recovering from Event ID55
Thanks for the reply.
Another question was I started moving the files out of the found.000 directory, to the normal directories, and when doing this it seemed to corrupt other files there like it was overwriting the files. I stopped immediately after I noticed this. I though the files in the Found ...

Ok the disk is a GPT, it I'm guessing the FAT was corrupted and now all my files and file names are scattered in to the found.000 directories (thanks chkdsk) Is there anyway to recover the FAT Table so I can have the correct dir's and file names?

Recovering from Event ID55

I've performed a surface scan for bad sectors and I couldn't find anything. I'm not sure how or why this happened.
I ran a CHKDSK /r which reset security permissions and found many files many of which are now corrupt.
I'm wondering if there is any way to ...
