Re: IMOEGA IX 400-D Failure $100 dollars for successful fix

Just as I thought after recovering those partitions They are showing up as RAID 1 not RAID 5. No Data, nothing. Now I have a bunch of junk partitions. mdadm --auto-detect -v does absolutely nothing.

The MD0 partition that you keep asking me to re-enable is showing a 4 gig LVM and then a 17 gig ...

Re: IMOEGA IX 400-D Failure $100 dollars for successful fix

ok I will recover them after I do another scan. MD0 is the only one I can recover because when I try to recover both MD0 and the LVM partition it says bad structure. I will update case after I recover the MD0 partitions and run the command mdadm --auto-detect -v.

Re: IMOEGA IX 400-D Failure $100 dollars for successful fix

When I recover those partitions and set them active write and reboot I get 20 gig partitions on each disk RAID 1 and no readable data. I used Photorec and recovered this data.. It appears to be the OS files for the IX4-200D so that data is pretty much worthless. If you look at the pictures you will ...

Hello and thank you for the reply.

There are no partitions on the disks according to disks in Ubuntu.

when I run mdadm --auto-detect it does not find anything.

IMOEGA IX 400-D Failure $100 dollars for successful fix

I have an Imoega IX400-200D that is bricked. I have used testdisk and can see the partitions however I am not sure on how to go about recovering the partitions. I am not fluent in filesystem/raid repair in linux, I have plugged all 4 drives into a Ubuntu box and they just show as 4 unknown disks. I ...
