Windows thus cleared the partition table, creating a new 32GB partition, but writing only 244MB.
Now when I run TestDisk, the program only sees this small partition ...

The program window has disappeared.

I have to start over from the beginning after more than 36 hours.

After 24 hours TestDisk is at 47%
