there was no log when i tested it i followed a tutorial that said choose no log. so should i just do it with a log and then analyze it and that will give me a log ?

i can see all the data on the drive i just cant access it the partition is not formatted like i can use testdisk and see all the folders and files nothing missing

I have a external western digital essentials drive that is now showing up as raw. when i have tried other harddrive programs it will show the data but there is no file system so cant access it. need some step by step instruction on how to do this with testdisk.i have looked through a few of the ...
