I have a 3tb mission critical data drive that is behaving badly, may be failing, and is not backed up. The drive is not my os drive. (I'm running Zorin 9)
The drive is slow to mount and change directories, and appears to have a few missing directories. Most appear intact.

Ok I've sorted this out, I didn't realize the directory select screen was AFTER initiating search.
Also succeeded in taking ownership. Would be useful if active user was owner by default, if possible.

The screen to set destination does not appear. It did on the first run, but no longer.
When I quit and restart photorec, I am first offered the choice to continue previous session.
