Excuse me for the lame question, but I cannot find a way to rum testdisk or photorec after I have untarred in /home/testdisk-7.0

testdisk-7.0 $ sudo testdisk_static
sudo: testdisk_static: command not found


Also, where can I download the GUI from (and how to run it)?

I am quite new to testdisk. I tried to recover files (vob and bup), but I only get an inode file in the destination directory.
