I was finally able to use the PhotoRec program after reading the instructions on this website more thoroughly. Unfortunately my 100+ photos of several years didn't show up in the retrieved files. Oh well, that's the way it goes when you don't back up your files.

TestDisk Won't Install
I've downloaded TestDisk 3 times and have tried selecting 'open with' or save. The result is the same, only file names appear with no MB of data. How can I install the program on my Windows 7 desktop?
