I gave up trying on my NAS box, in the end. I have a kit which attaches to a disk, to turn it into a USB disk. I used that, then ran photorec on a laptop.

Did the exact tar command as shown above. The 'linux' file is in the 'l' directory. Still get 'Terminfo file is missing'.

Yes, the 'linux' file is there, as I said, but the program, when run, still gives an 'Terminfo file is missing' error.

Getting a 'Terminfo file is missing' error on running photorec from testdisk-7.0.arm-none-linux-gnueabi on a QNAP NAS box. I see that this has been a problem previously, and I can confirm that 'l/linux' does exist. I notice there was a fix for this recently. Was it missed from this build?
