I am hoping to recover videos from 3 different events. For one I used a Cannon power shot. The other two were semipro level video cameras but it has been too long. But for those two I am trying to recover two different Final Cut Pro finished videos. The folder that Photorec recovered is about 12GB ...

Hi,
I recovered some files with names like, "f0283413_wide.mov", "f0237461_ftyp.mov", and "f0177749.dv" but it won't open on quick time 7, newer version of that, nor VLC...
VLC says:
"VLC can't recognize the input's format
The format of 'file:///Users/fabio/recup_dir.1/f0283413_wide.mov' cannot ...
