Thank you for your message!
I cannot use the FSPro software to unhide the folder because windows cannot access the disk! If only it could be so easy. All Windows tells me to do is format the drive!

Hidden Folder Not Found in Partition
Hello,
I have a Samsung NTSF HD that has become corrupted. TestDisk finds the partition and all the folders/files except those hidden by a program made by FSPro Lab:
https://fspro.net/hide-folders/
The tree below shows the expected folder structure. Most file recovery programs (Recuva, etc ...

Probably Simple But I Have Fear Proceding
I have an external 2TB USB drive that indicates "wrong parameter" when trying to view in windows. I ran TestDisk and it finds the single partition and it finds the correct file structure with "p"
The partition starts: >* HPFS-NTSF
What should I do next?
Thank you very much!!

Re: qphotorec recovery
Take this for what it's worth (perhaps nothing) however, I had a looping issue with Qphotorec too. It would loop between 7 and 11% and not progress. And it appears that if you stop Qphotorec it will just start over and not resume. So, I ran photorec instead and it has charged past the looping point ...

QPhotorec Memory Issue?
Modified Post:
I had to give up trying to restore my partition damaged 6 TB HD as both the MFT and backup are missing. So, I've tried to use QPhotoRec. Things started fine! The files recovered are complete. After QPhotoRec created 7 folders of backups (about 7%) on another 6 TB HD my Win7 Pro ...

Re: From Bad to Worse!
Thank you for your help!
I am in the process of trying to rebuild BS. I had to abort when the log file became extremely large. I take it this is expected? The drive is 6 TB with about 3-4TB data. I will need to buy another drive just to store the log file. Will I need a 6 TB drive?
Many thanks.

I have really stuffed up somehow big time. I really need help.
