Re: Lost partition on 128Gb SSD drive
Thanks for your illuminating reply... It turns out that this is more of a common problem than I thought as I later found out when I managed to find similar problems identified from the error code (0xAA55). Fiona (from CGSecurity) has dealt with this issue before and suggested running PhotoRec to see ...

I am trying to use PhotoRec to retrieve many files off an external 1TB disk. PhotoRec stumbles due to no partitions although it can see /dev/sdb – 512 B (RO) – Imation Apollo M100 USB3 and then on “Proceeding” identifies under the headings:
Partition Start End Size in sectors - “No partition 0 0 1 ...

Recover underlying files on Imation M100
Hi Support
I have a problem with an external Imation M100 1Tb drive that was in the middle of copying files originally to disk when a Windows update occurred and re-started the computer. It looks like the disk has been re-formatted and has a 512 byte system on it (don't know how this happened). I ...

Re: Adata Classic CH94 corrupt files
Hi Fiona - here are the details of the properties of the disk: File System FAT32 - Used space: 235GB Free Space 695GB.
However there are 10,000 files in the Found.000 folder - named File000.CHK to File9999.CHK but these only account for 28.9GB.
I don't know if disk was originally FAT32 or NTFS ...

Adata Classic CH94 corrupt files
Hello Christophe - I had rather hoped I wouldn't be back here, however I am trying to fix what would seem to be a pretty hopeless case. A friend has the above drive at about quarter full (235GB) of 1TB. Something went wrong and he lost access to data. He then passed to IT "specialist" who put the ...
