Hi Chris,

I am using the most recent download from your site for OSX. I have OSX 10.11.6

I am trying to get .doc and docx files.

I will disable txt and tx but then how do I get the doc and docx files?

I changed the default app and that did not open the txt files normally.

When I first used PhotoRec the TXT files opened normally.

Now they open like the below.

I changed the default app and that did not open the txt files normally.

When I open a folder with the file images they appear normal then a second later they change to the source code format below or whatever ...

Hi,

Thank you for your work Chris.

I used PhotoRec to recover txt files.

The disk1, where the data was to come from, was formatted as OSX extended case sensitive journaled.

The disk2, where the recovered data was to be put on, was also formatted in the same format.

The txt files were recovered ...
