Osx Disque Externe ne se monte pas

#1 Post by Virata »

Bonjour

Analyse sector 32768/976773167: 00%
Read error at 32767/0/1 (lba=32767)

et stop en dessous. J'ai lu la doc de TestDisk mais rien la dessus;Aucune progression bar, pas d'évolution ;
Comment puis je savoir qu'il analyse ou bien qu'il a stopper son analyse ?
Que dois je faire d'après vous ?

Merci pour votre aide et encore bravo pour vos outils .

Stop Testdisk, use smartmontools and post the log file here.
Instructions:
viewtopic.php?p=27477#p27477

Most probably you will have to duplicate your drive using ddrescue afterwards.

Hi

First of all I wanna thank you for your answer . I don't know how to make the control monitor you've sais . I mean is it on a blank page of terminal ? or inside the TestDisk program ?

I decided to quit the program and re open it again . after I did an analysis the response was :

Disk /dev/rdisk4 - 500 GB / 465 GiB - 976773168 sectors (RO)
Current partition structure:
Partition Start End Size in sectors

> 1 P partition_map 1 63 63
2 P Driver43 64 119 56
3 P Driver43 120 175 56
4 P Driver_ATA 176 231 56
5 P Driver_ATA 232 287 56
6 P FWDriver 288 799 512
7 P Driver_IOKit 800 1311 512
8 P Patches 1312 1823 512
9 P Free 1824 263967 262144
10 P HFS 263968 951607327 951343360
10 P HFS 263968 951607327 951343360
11 P HFS 951607328 976773151 25165824

What dose that mean ? is it ,in fact , the result of what TestDisk did before ( may be Write a new partition table ? ) ?
For now what should I do ? I am pending on your answer .

thank you

smartmontools and ddrescue are tools that run under linux.

This is a partition table in GPT format.

( may be Write a new partition table ? ) ?
For now what should I do ? I am pending on your answer .

thank you
I don't if and how you can use linux in parallel with Mac computers.
The best is to connect your drive to a linux machine.

Hi

Thanx for your help. I don't have Linux and I'll think I'll keep searching with TestDisk or PhotoRec until i save my data on another safety disk ...

Merci
