Recover partitions from unallocated space

#1 Post by bkch »

Recently I installed on my hdd but I probably f**** up and now I lost the files in my hdd and it shows up as unallocated space.
Is there a fix with this problem by using testdisk?

Run TestDisk, Analyse, Quick Search. If some partitions are still missing, choose Deeper Search.
Use the arrow keys to switch the partitions to recovery from D(eleted) to P(rimary), *(bootable) or L(ogical).
On it's done, go on next screen, if all partitions are listed, choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart your computer.
