MFT corrupted on 2TB

#1 Post by Mark2m »

Originally chkdsk will not work for E: drive one of 3 which has mainly music and photo's. After running Test Disk I have the following, Where do I go from here?
As you can see analyze cylinder and have read error,
What do I do next? Realistically, can I replace the MFT or do I try to copy the files to another disk and consider this 2TB drive as toast?

Run TestDisk, Advanced, select the partition corresponding to E:, Boot, RebuildBS, List. If you can see your files, choose Write and confirm. If it's not the case, please copy the content of testdisk.log
