Dear Sir,
Great Softwareeeeeeeeeeeeeee ... Thank you
I have a disk 320 GB ( NTFS ) ... bad ... -> ddrescue-1.20 and have an image.
Run testdisk-7.0.linux26-x86_64 in Ubuntu and access the image.
Advance - > Undelete ... and one inode ... and the data is from my EXT4 disks.
Strange.
Run the same procedure in VirtualBox -> W$ndows and the same thing
The scan and deep scan is ok ... find folders and files.
4 files...
But ... no delete files ...
Best Regards,
Neuron

Re: testdisk (Linux) with NTFS image
Try Photorec on the NTFS partition, choose [Whole] instead of [Free]
Re: testdisk (Linux) with NTFS image
Thank you for your answer ...cgrenier wrote:Try Photorec on the NTFS partition, choose [Whole] instead of [Free]
But with other software I can see the files and folders ...
You need more research to see what is the problem?
And fix in next release.

Neuron
