We just got harassed and almost run over by a psycopath friend of a neighbour's and I filmed most of what happened. He got out of his car grabbed my camera and tried to smash it, but managed to "settle" to just delete the video of his criminal acts.
I tried using TestDisk to recover the file but it won't find it!!!!!
I can find older deleted files but not THIS ONE!!! And I need it to press charges!!!!! Help?!?! :'(

I have a Samsung WB510 digital camera, FAT32.

Try PhotoRec on the memory card.

Didn't work..... only got the video I made where i read his license plate for when pressing charges. :/

thing is though, my camera has two different folders where it's saved photos. the first folder is from waaaay back, and the second one is newer but still a few years old. I don't know why??? but i can find deleted files with testdisk in the first folder but not the second one!!! in case this is what the problem is?

If you have a made a video after the first one has been deleted, this old video has probably been overwritten, it's why PhotoRec did not recover it.
