How to allocate Unallocated external hard without loosing data

Hello Lovely people. I have a hard disk from my previous laptop that i connected with my new laptop using harddrive adapter but it is showing as Unallocated drive. I just need the data from the drive. How can i allocate it without loosing data. Thank you in advance
