Hi guys!
I have laptop thinkpad x240. Yesterday I tried to install pop os (linux os) next to windows 10 which had partition "C" and "D" then in the step of partition I selected gpt and then apply then all partition is gone. Now my 500go hdd is unallocated no os. A friend suggested to install testdisk I did via usb bootable linux.
I want to recover the first five partition so I can back to windows 10 with all my files. Please help me how especially I am afraid to do a mistake and lost everything.
it gives me only 4 partitions to be green. is it possible to recover system too and boot to windows 10 without losing data like favoris in browser.
Thank you for your efforts!

You did not link your pictures correctly.
Please upload the pictures using the functions "Attachments" on the bottom of the page.

I don't understand what "pop os" means.

Do not try to update your notebook before having duplicated your drive.
When having fear trying to repair your drive, duplicate it first using ddrescue.

I count roughly 800e6 sectors which is approximately 400 GB for your first five partitions asssuming they are full. 320 GB may not be sufficient.

I will try to find another from friends. But in case not, is it possible to recover those partitions and write them on the current drive?

Do not write on your faulty drive.

Is there anyway to write partition on another hard drive?
I bring a hard drive with 340Go free space, how can duplicate hard drive only with the first 5 partitions?
Thankn you so much!

Your statements means that you don't have partitions anymore on your faulty drive.

If you have an appropriate expansion card it might be possible to combine smaller drives to a big one so that that collection of drives appears to Testdisk as a single drive.
On a software level I don't know if Testdisk would recognize dynamic drives or storage spaces as one unique drive to write on.

Yes there is no partition on the faulty drive. I buy a new drive 500Go and I tried to clone the faulty drive to it via clonezilla as I found ddrescue complicated, but I faced this problem :(

It seems that Clonezilla does not handle bad sectors correctly. Try using ddrescue - it has been designed with bad sectors in mind.
Use the live edition of Gparted p.e., that is a small image file that contains everything necessary.
Get yourself a cheap other drive such as an USB stick, fill the stick and practice duplicating using ddrescue from the little stick to the 500GB drive.
Use the log file function.
Delete the big drive with the clean function in Windows diskpart.

When being comfortable with ddrescue clone your faulty drive.
