Write error trying to recover RAW partition

#1 Post by literaiiy »

Hello, I will preface this by saying that I am not a master user of any kind.
Recently I accidentally wiped a 2TB drive (prev. formatted as NTFS) in diskpart with the clean command, and have tried to recover the data lost in that partition. Windows displays it as "Unallocated" in Disk Manager. Multiple partition recovery tools have been able to look into the filesystem; EaseUS says it has good recoverability- but those all cost money.
TestDisk successfully found my files as well, but after trying to write the partition tables, I got a write error.
I am on Windows 10, latest build. Antivirus (Windows Defender) is on, but I have tried it off with no avail. I have both run as admin and not as admin. I have tried setting the disk to *, P, and L, none of which work. Going to Advanced doesn't seem to find my partition.
My log is at https://pastebin.com/sjB9ckX7.
TY in advance.

I can't find a write error in the log file.
When you get into the partition using the "p"-key ("list files") just copy the desired files from your broken disc.
