Hello to everybody,
I have got a Hitachi 82.3 GB Hitachi IDE HDD that is stuck in boot loop. I connected it by USB adaptor to an other pc. After a lot of trouble I managed that TestDisk can analyze the HDD.
I followed the step-by-step tutorial for partition recoery and now I'm stuck at Deeper Search. Testdisk didn't find a boot partition, one partition isn't readable at all and all partitions are marked as "D".
How do I have to proceed from this point in order to recover the personal data on the HDD?
Thank you and have a pleasant day,
Thore

Can you show what the actual partition table is ? (First screen after Quick Search).
On which filesystem are the files you want to recover ? Daten ? Sonstiges ?

Result from Quick Search
Path to "Eigene Dateien". In here are several Folders that need to be recovered.

Thanks to your great program I finally managed to recover the data. No other program was able to do this. Even bootable rescue tools didn't help.
Thanks a lot.
