Okay! I admit that I should go to some professional data recovery shop but the shops are all closed here due to lockdown.
My 2TB WD hard drive is showing as Unallocated - Not initialised all of a sudden. This hard drive is an internal drive and sits inside my PC so there is 0% change of any physical damage. It happened all of a sudden and started to show as unallocated. I’ve tried recovering the data through many data recovery software but I think that the software is unable to make contact with the hard drive though it is showing in Disk management as unallocated. I was told here in this forum to use ddrescue to clone the disk but I decided to open the hard drive as there was a single click sound in the hard drive when I tried to power it up. I’m attaching 3 videos in which you could see how the hardrive is behaving when I boot up.
https://youtube.com/shorts/QtlSY7X3ceQ?feature=share This is happening when I’m switching on the power in the hard drive.
https://youtu.be/BwyNEHDX7MY After a while, it stops spinning and gets detected as unallocated in disk management.

It only detects in disk management when it stops spinning.
Is it fixable?
Please help me guys!
Spinning problem or what?

After going to the grocery store I always bring my broken drives to the recovery shop.abhinavjoshua wrote: ↑21 Apr 2021, 15:55 Okay! I admit that I should go to some professional data recovery shop but the shops are all closed here due to lockdown.
Do you believe your story yourself? There is something called postal service and that will bring your broken device to any professional company and they did not stop working.
I guess your drive is not fixable anymore since you opened it - congratulations. My 2TB WD hard drive is showing as Unallocated - Not initialised all of a sudden.
