restore finished scans

#1 Post by akhi »

Hello;

I've have been scanning 4TB HDD for hours , when scan finish I accidental quite the terminal. Is there anyway to restore the terminal/analyze-process ?
  • I'm using Linux ( Ubuntu 18 )
  • Partition type ( EFI GPT )
  • Created log file ( testdisk.log )
  • Tried the option append ( I though will bring the process back, but understood only uses the same log file )
Thank you for the amazing software.

Do you mean '' I'm now aware " or " I'm not* aware " . Sorry, I didn't understood what you mean.

Because if you quite, or press q or browse to a bad partition, you lose everything. Scans takes up to 12h maybe more to finish.
