Seagate GoFlex Agent 500Gig
I have a serious issue with my drive, I had my drive go out totally where windows nor Ubuntu would read the files and testdisk would not show any partitions. So I got a new PCB board and the contents wrote to the new PCB board. Now it shows the Partition and will allow me to use testdisk to view the contents of the disk and will even allow photorec to recover SOME photos not all. Then something weird will happen it will show it is still searching the HDD then wont recover anymore data and will just show all read errors until I shutdown the computer completely then turn it back on. Then it will start reading the data again??? My question is how do determine where the issue lies without opening the HDD??
