Not sure what to do next

I have a problem with my WD 500gb external hard drive. The last time I plugged it into my laptop it couldn't be found. I took it into a computer repair shop but they couldn't open it either so I decided to do some investigation and see if I could come up with a solution.
I found on another forum that if you could see the external hard drive in Disk Management, which I can, but not in Computer, to use testdisk. I followed the instructions and am now in the middle of a test

The thing I'm not sure about is what to do with the test results or how they will help me open the drive.
Can anyone advise?
