Drive has become RAW after SATA to USB connection to laptop

My seagate Barracude of 2TB has become a brick.
What did I do?
Removed the disk from a station that had windows 7 and sata connectors to a laptop with a sata to usb converter.
What did I already do to try to fix the problem?
1. started "Testdisk"
2. Ran Analyse
3. Found the partition, could do a list files.
4. Changed the type from boot (*) to P (primary) since I never boot from this disk.
5. Wrote back the information to the partitioning table.
6. However that failed that with an "write error" but apparantly has written something.
7. When I now do the same.
8. Testdisk tells me the following:
I copied some files of the disk via testdisk and that works, my question is how to get windows to recognize the disc again without formatting.
