Laptop HDD not accessible

#1 Post by anshul0303 »

Unfortunately laptop dropped and when powered on it says no OS found.

Check the BIOS, HDD is not showing over there.

We connected the HDD to the other PC using external USB HDD enclosure and it is being shown in Device Manager as USB Mass Storage Device but is not being shown in Disk Management.

When Testdisk used it shows >Disk /dev/sdd - 2199 GB / 2047 GiB as shown in attached screen shot:

Don't know what to do now?

We also connected HDD direclty to SATA in the computer in that case also it is not being shown in BIOS, Disk Management and Testdisk.

Please help
