Resuming Session

Hi,
I had to stop a photorec session and thought that when the seesion ended it would save in the photorec.ses file. I noticed that when I closed out of the recovery the ses file disappeared. Now when I try to relaunch photorec I'm asked if I want to restart a previous session. When I type Y, I get a response that says "No harddisk found."
Is there anyway for me to resume where I've left off?
