Linux ReiserFS partition recovery

#1 Post by jkgoose »

I ran testdisk and deleted "2" fat32 partition ands in hopes it left my ReiserFS linux partition intact, yet when i went to gparted to look at the partition the entire disk is blank. now i'm looking for the "recover partition" option and none of the menus have this. i've done a deep search and still no "recover partition" option. i should have a "/" [root] partition and "/home" partition that this program can't seem to find. if i can recover the "/home" partition and keep it intact that would be awesome. if anyone has the understanding on how to do this i would be grateful.
