I have a 1TB external hard disk with lot of data approx 500 GB. Now I am using Linux(Kubuntu 11.04 ,64bit). I was trying to make a bootable usb with "Startup disk creator" (software provided in Kubuntu). Now my 4GB pen-drive and 1TB hard-drive both were attached with my laptop. Now by mistake I have selected my 1TB hard-drive. At once I noticed that and stopped the progress. And detached my hard-drive from my laptop physically . After that when I am trying to connect my hard-drive to my laptop nothing is showing. Only in partition editor a unformatted drive is showing. Now I don't trying to format this without consulting the experts like here. Is it possible to recover my data ?
Need help..thanks in advance..

As long as you didn't write into your file system, it might be possible to get your partitions back.
I'd need infos from Analyse (current partition structur), Quick Search (your results) and Deeper Search (the results) also.
If TestDisk finds a partition, please check it and press p to list your files.
If you receive an error message, please let me know.
