Hard disk with 4 partitions not recognised any more

After a power problem during a data transfer the PC doesn't recognise my external hard disk any more.
I feared that all data on each of the 4 partitions was lost, but then I found your "Testdisk" on the internet.
All seemed to go well as I followed your exellent "Step by Step" article, up till when I clicked the "Analyse button".
I get a very fine "current partition structure" on the screen but no "quick search" button at the bottom, only "Proceed" and when I click that one we seem to be lost.
On the next page one finds:

Disk 81 - 250GB/232 GiB - CHS 30401 255 63
Analyse cylinder 10224/30400 33%
HPFS - NTFS 0 1 1 10198 254 69 163846872 [Video]

STOP

The partition structure was very encouraging and "Video" was indeed the name of one partition, but on this page now everything is dead, even the Stop button!!! Can somebody please tell me where I did go wrong???

If there are bad sectors, each disk access may take several seconds. All applications will freeze until the access complete.
If you are in this case, you should clone the damaged disk to a new empty one as described in
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Damaged_Hard_Disk
Once the copy is done, remove the damaged disk and use TestDisk on the clone.
