500GB Buffalo Ministation Cyclic Redundancy Error

Plugged in my 500GB External Hard-drive, came up with error Cyclic Redundancy Error - Do you want to format the disk. I said no, and have tried various methods for getting hold of the data on the disk, which includes using EasyUS Data Recovery Wizard. It bombed out. Nothing has worked thus far.
Now I am trying testdisk, and still no results. Any help is highly appreciated.
1.I run testdisk.
2.Choose the disk
3.Choose the table type
4.Comes up with message Partition: Read Error
5.Then I do a quick search.
6.Say Yes to searched partitions created under Vista or Later.
7. Get a error, Analyse Cylinder 1/60800:00%
Read Error at 0/241/1 (lba=15183)
I have tried Photorec, I choose the disk, but the Partition is stated as "P Unknown". Any ideas wha the issue might be. Now it is reading sectors, but all it says is Error reading sector...and it estimates that there will be days to run still. Any ideas would be highly highly appreciated!
Many thanks
Adrian
PS. I have attached some of the screen shots of messages when running testdisk and photorec.
