Help with partition.
So i have a 3tb WD MyBook external hard drive with a deleted partition. What I did was, I ran testdisk and it confirmed that indeed a partition was missing. So then I went to superscan only to see that it has bad sectors. Now the question is, seeing how it is a 3tb hard drive, its going to take ages for testdisk to scan trough those bad sectors and what not.. would I be better off formatting the hard drive and then try to recover all data loss? or is it necessary for testdisk to scan the hard drive even tough all sectors are damaged? By the way, Im a complete noob when it comes to all of this and i barely know what im doing..
