Hi

I dont know what windows version that is (I use XP), but after my NTFS partition went raw I done a CHKDSK /r from the Windows XP CD recovery console and it brought back my file system

Testdisk had previously reported errors reading the MFT for that partition (bad sectors in the MFT)

Since, although the file system is now coming up again, the event log is still showing errors for that partition so it looks like it will need a further scandisk/chkdsk to fix all problems

My drive is failing though, so I'm about to image the partitions onto another drive before I go any further. Hope that helps!
