External HD help...

#1 Post by mike79 »

I've got an external 500gb hd with 3 partitions on it. The last partition [DONE] got messed up.

Code: Select all

Current partition structure:

>[Quick Search] [ Backup ]
                            Try to locate partition
I am able to list and copy my files from your program, but is there an easy way to fix my partition on this external HD? The other 2 partitions work fine in windows, but this 3rd one only shows as K: in windows and is all empty. How can I repair it, can you show me step by step what to do.

(I deleted several files, rebooted my pc and that's when it got all messed up)

Thanks.

I noticed, that after #7 (x Extended) is missing. Is this the reason maybe? Should I make #7 partition extended again?
