Hi Fiona,

It was helpful, thank you. Now, I can take ownership of folders including the subfolders and files in it, with a couple of clicks.

After recovery, you can reformat your partition and copy your files back.
Also check your S.M.A.R.T. values using CrystalDisk Info;

If the disk is in a good shape, easily use it!
