Partiton can't be recovered...Help

#1 Post by mufc »

I have lost a partition and have no idea what to do. I have followed all the steps I have found but nothing says what to do when you get that the the partition cannot be recovered.

Lost Partition L:Movies and Television 1608.8GB is showing up Win 7 Computer Management as Free space.
After using deeper search it finds the partition but says it cannot be recovered. When I hit continue it shows the 4 partitons and I can change them all to Primary(no booting on this disk0 and it does not say "invalid structure" for any of them and it gives me the option to "write" I am a little worried to do this because it seems too easy after just being told that the partition cannot be recovered.

My log file is one huge mess. Does not look like any uploaded here at all. Very difficult to read.

So as not to put too many pictures here I have created a web page where there are 9 pictures taken at every step of the way.

Please let me know what I can do.
Thanks.
